Artist Shanlie Wolter cuts portraits live at museums, private parties, retail events, and historic reenactments throughout the Southeast United States.
Shanlie is a traditional free-hand silhouettist. She works in the 18th century style, using only scissors and paper to render a likeness in just a few minutes with no drawing or digital alteration involved.

Since 2019, silhouettes cut by Shanlie Wolter have been featured in promotional materials for the F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald Museum in Montgomery, Alabama.
